FlexMedia Partnership Declaration of Integrity

FlexMedia Partnership LLC was founded on the belief that there is a conscientious and honest way to bring corporate financial support to the precious but endangered athletic and extracurricular programs at our local schools and park districts. Many administrators and community members have struggled to weigh the relative benefits of desperately needed supplementary funds against the pitfalls of the perceived commercialization of our schools and community spaces. We believe, however, that there is a systematic way to manage the relationship between businesses and the community that will result in a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties. Our aim is to ensure that this happens.

To further this all-important end, we declare these to be our guiding principles in managing the partnership:

• We will work only with socially responsible companies that are committed to improving the athletic and extracurricular opportunities for students, athletes, and the community at large.
• We vow that the financial support of our corporate partners will go beyond a simple sales-driven investment in advertising, and will be a good-faith effort to provide real benefit to our communities.
• We will ensure that none of the products advertised on our fence will undermine the health, well-being, and best interests of the intended audience, be it students, athletes, or their families.
• We will make certain that schools and park districts are truly equal partners in our venture.
• We will stand ready to address the concerns of schools, park districts, and community members to make sure that our venture actually turns out to be a win-win situation for all members of our partnership.
